Permetrol is an insect and fly treatment for Horses and Dogs.
Horses:
Controls;
Pyrethroid sensitive flies;
Buffalo Fly (Haematobia irritans exigua)
Stable fly (Stomoxys calcitrans)
Biting insects (Culicoides sp.)
Treats Queensland Itch
Dogs:
Controls;
Fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, Ct canis)
Ticks (adult Rhipicephalus sp.).
Treats allergic dermatitis (summer eczema)

Spray animal entirely ruffling the coat to ensure adequate penetration and coverage. Use weekly. |

Spray as required for fly nuisance. For QLD itch (Culicoides bite hypersensitivity) spray twice weekly until symptoms abate, then as required. |
Zone Control: To obtain maximum flea control, treat the animal’s environment by cleaning the bedding and resting places and then regularly spraying the entire area with the diluted product. Vacuum/clean the carpets and surrounds regularly. Continue treatment all year round. If flea problems persists, seek veterinary advice.
Do not use on cats and animals under 12 weeks of age. When diluted in methylated spirits, the product should not be used on broken skin.

Withholding Period (Horses): Not to be used on horses intended for human consumption.
Can Permetrol be used on cats?
